Symptom

Your previous hosting provider company cannot be reached anymore. Their domains cannot be accessed, nobody answers the phone, support tickets remain unanswered. Your domains are still with that hosting company and you want to transfer them elsewhere. As your hoster is no longer accessible, you cannot get the auth code that you need for a domain transfer.

Solution

Transfer your domain name to Bitpalace. Order a domain transfer and enter any auth code (invent it freely). In the comment field at the end of your order, enter that you need an “auth code II”.

For .de domain names: The auth code II can be ordered from DeNIC for 14.88 € including taxes by Bitpalace (you cannot order that code yourself). DeNIC will send you a letter with a transfer key for your .de domains by which you can generate a new auth code. Simply follow these steps and let us know your new code. We can then transfer your .de domain name without the assistance of your previous, unresponsive web hosting company.

For .eu domains: Create a „My Eurid“ Account on https://eurid.eu/en/my-eu/ and request the auth code directly from Eurid. Mail us the code and we can transfer your domain.

For other domain endings: Open your own domain dossier at centralops.net to find out, where your current hosting company has registered your domain names. Contact that registrar directly and explain your case to them. Ask for the auth code of your domain. The registrar can mail it to the e-mail address that was registered as admin-contact in your domain records. With that auth code we can transfer your domain name without the assistance of your previous, unresponsive web hosting company.
